Stephen Root: The First Confirmed Actor
Stephen Root confirmed his GTA 6 role to the Associated Press at a mid-September red carpet event. He’s the first actor to publicly say he’s in the game.
Root said fans who knew him from King of the Hill recognized his voice early in the game’s rollout, which he said gave the secret away. He added that he’s happy to be involved.
Reports differ on how explicitly he named his character. Everything points to Brian Heder, the voice heard speaking to Jason at the start of Trailer 2 and featured again in the Extended Look.
