GTA 6 Release Date & News

Rockstar Games has locked in November 19, 2026 as the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI, on PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders opened worldwide on June 25, 2026. As of today, no PC version has been announced — Rockstar's past titles have typically arrived on PC 12-18 months after console, so budget your PC build timeline accordingly rather than expecting day-one PC support.

Timeline So Far

The road here was long. Rockstar released the first trailer in December 2023, confirmed a delay from the original 2025 window in May 2025, then locked the November 19, 2026 date in late 2025. Take-Two has reaffirmed that date through multiple earnings calls since, most recently building its Fiscal 2027 guidance around the launch.

Editions & Price

GTA 6 ships in two editions. The Standard Edition ($79.99) includes the full single-player campaign following Jason and Lucia through Vice City and the state of Leonida. The Ultimate Edition adds bonus vehicles and in-game items for players who pre-order. The $79.99 price point is a $10 increase over the previous AAA standard.

What We're Watching

No PC release window, no PS4/Xbox One version (this is a current-gen exclusive), and no confirmed launch time — storefront listings suggest a rolling regional midnight unlock, but Rockstar hasn't confirmed an hour. We'll update this page the moment any of that changes.

Has GTA 6 been delayed again?

No. As of this writing, November 19, 2026 remains the confirmed date across Rockstar and Take-Two’s public statements.

When do GTA 6 pre-orders end?

Pre-orders remain open through launch; specific bonus-item cutoffs vary by retailer.
